Whether you're a college student trying to figure out how to make your money last until the end of the month, or you're newly married and trying to figure out how two incomes, two sets of expenses, and two financial histories fit together, money can be confusing.

Money Wise is a short, practical 3-week series on October 26, November 2, and November 9 at 6:30 PM, taught by former Crown Business Professor Jim Nichols, designed to help you feel more confident about money and less stressed by it.

We'll talk honestly about the things that matter, beginning with God’s perspective:

Week 1 —CONTROL What does God say about money? Where does your money actually go? We'll talk about spending, budgeting, saving, and building an emergency fund.

Week 2 — PROTECT What does God say about debt? Credit cards, credit scores, student loans, car loans, and debt. How can you use credit without letting debt take control?

Week 3 — BUILD What does God say about long-term money management? Saving, investing, retirement, financial goals, and making your money work for you.

No complicated financial jargon. No lectures about how you "should" be handling your money. No judgment. Just practical ideas, useful tools, and conversations that can help you make smarter money decisions now—and for the years ahead.

And to top it all off, these sessions will take place in the new, beautiful home of Dr. Hal & Jane Baumchen on the shores of Lake Waconia.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're starting from scratch or already feel pretty good about your finances.
